An Animation Career Spanning the Globe
Chatrasal Singh first came to VanArts with a dream and a passion for animation.
15 years later, this passion combined with hard work and persistence has taken him all over the world for a successful career, working in India, China, London, Australia, and Vancouver for studios such as Dreamworks, Animal Logic, WETA Digital…
and now at Walt Disney Animation Studios in Burbank, California!
His credit list includes the Kung Fu Panda TV series, Sherlock Gnomes, Monster Hunt 2, Wish Dragon, Peter Rabbit 2, and DC League of Superpets. He is currently working on Disney’s upcoming feature Strange World, set for release in November 2022.
Chatrasal first got hooked on animation through a visit to Toonz Animation Studios in India, where their CEO told him about the animation program at VanArts and recommended he apply there if he wanted a career in animation. After taking this advice and graduating, he returned to India and got his first job at Toonz, which was just the beginning.
